The 5 day YPSI Semi-Private Internship contains the Modules 1, 2 and 3 of our YPSI Trainer B Certification – all participants will be certified as YPSI Trainers B-Licence (for the german overview of the modules click here)

What you will learn

Module 1 – The Pillars of our Work
- The initial Assessment on Day 1 at the YPSI – What we use. Why we use it. How we interpret and apply.
- 7 most underrated factors for maximal Before’n’After Results
- 6 Principles of becoming a successful Coach and Personal Trainer
 
Module 2 – Functional Anatomy and Exercice Execution
- Functional Anatomy and Exercise Execution – Lower Extremity
- Functional Anatomy and Exercise Execution – Upper Extremity and Torso
- What. How. Why. Detailed Explanation of all major lifts and their variations  -  Squat. Deadlift. Bench. Chinups.
- Foot-, Elbow- and Hand-positions and their effect on muscular recruitment
- The most efficient exercises to optimize posture – from Neck Extension Training to Flexor Hallucis Longus Stretching
 
Module 3 – Program Design and Periodisation
- Training-Parameters – how to structure exercises, reps, sets, tempo and rest within a training program for maximal progress and results
- Short- and Longterm Periodisation - how to structure a series of training programs for maximal progress and results
- Periodisation in Athletics vs. Periodisation in Fitness – what are the differences and their influence on maximal progress
- The science of Micro-Periodisation – how to structure loads within a training session for different training effects
- Incl. over 25 periodised programs
 
This seminar is 80% theory and 20% practice.

Wolfgang Unsöld is the Founder and Head Coach of the Your Personal Strength Institute in Stuttgart, Germany, a high-end training center that offers personaltraining for everybody from Executive to Olympian and Continuing Education for Personal Trainers. In the last 5 years Coach Unsöld has published articles in 5 different languages and has given Lectures and Seminars on Performance Enhancement  and Optimisation of Recovery through Training, Nutrition and Supplementation in 18 countries. Over the last 10 years he got known for producing outstanding Before’n’After Results in recordtime and has worked with over 100 high level athletes in over 20 different sports, including
